Hawkeye wanted to say that he had only managed Time Travel by wearing special gear and using Pym Particles. There was no way Ethan could go with him.
But then he remembered that Dr. Pym was still alive in this world. Besides, Tony Stark, one of the world's greatest scientists, was standing right in front of him. The problems he had been thinking about were no problem at all.
More importantly, the one saying this was a god who could freely travel through countless universes. Maybe Ethan did not need any equipment at all to reach Clint's world.
"What are you planning to do?"

Ethan did not have any particular thoughts about going to a Parallel Universe. He had simply impulsively "kidnapped" Hawkeye. Since he had acted on impulse, he had to see it through. He could not just screw someone over and leave that universe stuck in its current state.
