Ever since he had stepped into a new realm and created a complete divine kingdom, Yinsen had understood why Merlin had helped him.
It was much the same as why The Ancient One had been willing to help him back then. Yinsen's existence had brought them a "new future."
Had Yinsen not appeared, Merlin would basically have been "trapped" in this world for the rest of his life. His strength had already reached a bottleneck, and he was certain that he would not be able to break through that barrier and enter a higher realm before his life came to an end.
That would not have been a problem originally. Even if his strength never improved again, Merlin was powerful enough as he was. His lifespan was extremely long, giving him plenty of time to do whatever he wanted and live without regrets.
Perhaps he would have grown tired of living before his lifespan even ran out!
But when he saw a better opportunity, one that allowed him to touch a higher realm, he decisively "reached out."

Yinsen spread his hands. He did not mind Merlin asking him for help, because Merlin had helped him greatly. This counted as Mutual Help.
"In that case, you'll be moving into my divine kingdom."

Yinsen had built his divine kingdom "above" countless universes, and it was inseparably connected
