Dumbledore felt that Yinsen was probably telling the truth, but he had definitely left out a great deal. Even among wizards, there were vast differences in ability.

Lupin did not think that much about it. He simply kept studying Yinsen with questioning eyes, as if trying to see through him.

"So you only came to Hogwarts to have fun?"

"Didn't I say so? I also wanted to pick up some new knowledge along the way... so I suppose I came here to study too?"

Yinsen glanced at Dumbledore, silently asking whether there was anything else.

He had already helped solve Lupin's problem. It seemed there was nothing else here that required him.

"Thank you very much for your help."

Dumbledore reacted swiftly and immediately thanked Yinsen. He did not mention any reward, nor did Yinsen ask for one. The two maintained their unspoken understanding—Yinsen would receive all kinds of conveniences at the school. This did not merely mean he could freely borrow books that students were normally forbidden to read; the people present would also do their best to help whenever he needed it.

Just like how Yinsen wanted a Time-Turner, and Snape promptly found one for him. That was roughly how it worked...

However, just as Yinsen was about to leave, he suddenly noticed Fawkes, who had been standing there pretending to be a statue. He crooked a finger at the phoenix, and it obediently plucked a feather from itself at once.

"I wanted to take a feather every time I came here. I finally remembered this time."

Yinsen casually put away the Phoenix Feather, bade Dumbledore and the others farewell, and left on his own.

As for the warding spell at the door, it was practically nonexistent to Yinsen.

Watching Yinsen leave, Professor McGonagall finally asked the
