The Sheep Transformation Spell did more than simply transform its target into another creature, like the Transfiguration Spell in Harry Potter World. It also prevented those whose forms had been changed from controlling their own bodies. This meant that even if the victim remained mentally aware, they could not make the sheep's body take the right actions—for example, running away.

Once hit by this spell, they were truly at the mercy of others. Their opponent could deal with them however they pleased.

Of course, the spell was not truly unbeatable. In any world, spells of this kind came with strict conditions for use.

The Sheep Transformation Spell also had many prerequisites. Against most ordinary people, while it had a decent chance of succeeding, it did not last very long, making it more of a disruptive spell.

Against spellcasters who were naturally sensitive to energy and highly resistant to various spells, or powerful individuals in general, the odds of this spell failing were far greater than its odds of succeeding.
