Moira wanted to get more information out of Yinsen, but his answers had not changed. He still repeated the same things Thea had told her.

Moira felt helpless. Perhaps she thought that if she did not believe him, he should at least do something to prove his words? But she had not expected Yinsen not to care at all. Or rather, whether she believed him had no effect on Yinsen whatsoever.
Thinking it over carefully, Moira realized that reality was exactly like that.
If Yinsen truly was a god, did it matter whether she believed him? Could it affect Yinsen? As for taking Thea away from Yinsen? Would a god care if an ordinary human moved away from him?
