Countless blue-white flashes lit up across the asteroid, and then those glowing clusters shot toward the Venus at incredible speed.

With their previous experience, no one on the bridge paid much attention. Everyone had gained a more intuitive understanding of the Venus's defenses. An attack of this level probably could not even break through the outermost Protective Shield.

Clusters of white light exploded as Yinsen studied the magnified images Luna had provided.

The small asteroid was covered in many hidden pits, and almost every one of them concealed bugs.

That concentrated barrage earlier did not mean there were only that many bugs on the asteroid. It simply meant that only those bugs had been facing their direction.

This became clear from the attacks that followed. As the asteroid moved through the void, it also rotated. Yet no matter how it turned, Luna could detect traces of those bugs on the side facing them.

"A troop transport?"

The bugs in the Starship Troopers world were skilled at using asteroids to travel between planets. They could even use asteroids to bypass human defenses and launch surprise attacks on the rear lines.

So no one here was unfamiliar with this method of operation. What surprised them was encountering such a situation here.

If Yinsen had not been certain that his Main World was not the Starship Troopers world—the spatial coordinates were different—he might have suspected that he had been living in the Starship Troopers world all along.

As the distance continued to close and Luna was able to provide clearer images, Yinsen confirmed that he really had not been living in the Starship Troopers world. The difference between these bugs and Arachnid Bugs was obvious. These giant bugs capable of firing blue-white energy spheres resembled enormous mantises. On the outer side of their
