Only Sakura Haruno was surprised. No matter what, she had never imagined that Naruto Uzumaki, the perennial dead last, the orphan everyone in the village discriminated against and looked down on, was actually the Fourth Hokage's son.

"I didn't expect you to have such a human side!"
"What did you say, brat?"

"When Minato Namikaze appeared, you didn't immediately roar about killing him. Instead, you stayed here obediently and watched the father and son talk. Didn't you want to disturb them?"
"I was merely thinking..."
"Thinking?"
"Whether it would be better to kill his father in front of that brat, or kill his son in front of that hateful man."
Kurama gritted his teeth as he spoke, baring a vicious grin. Its sharp fangs and ferocious expression made Sakura Haruno, who was standing some distance away, uneasy.
