Jiraiya understood what Yinsen meant, but that was not what he wanted to say.
"I think you should understand what I'm trying to say."
Of course Yinsen understood. Jiraiya was worried that Yinsen had the ability to revive people, yet had not revived a single member of the Uchiha family. How would Sasuke feel watching Naruto's family reunite? Would he become dissatisfied with Yinsen, or even with the Hidden Leaf Village?
Itachi Uchiha was not a concern, though. His circumstances meant that he could not bring such a request to Yinsen. Even with countless reasons, he still did not know how to face his parents.

Helping Naruto was about changing some of the regrets he had from watching Naruto in his previous life. Helping Sasuke was purely out of friendship.
If Tsunade asked him to revive Dan Kato or Nawaki, perhaps he would have to think about it.
They kept chatting nonsense for a while. The topic drifted from food to women to their understanding of ninjutsu, and Yinsen could even speak fluently about the formulas behind writing novels.
Considering the genre of novels Jiraiya wrote, the two drove the conversation
