The void tore apart, and worlds shattered!
The aftermath of Yinsen and Abraham's battle was this terrifying. Yinsen merely swung the greatsword in his hand; even if Abraham dodged and let the blade strike the void, that did not mean the power contained within it had struck nothing.
At Yinsen's current level, shattering the void was no longer an exaggerated figure of speech.
After only a few exchanges, several worlds near the two of them had already been destroyed. Some had been reduced to utter nothingness, some had been blasted into fragments by the horrific impacts, and others had been more than half-devoured by rules.
"I never expected your strength to have improved so much."
Abraham's expression was as ugly as could be. Yinsen's rate of progress was countless times faster than he had imagined. He realized that even at his peak, he could not be certain of killing the current Yinsen, let alone now, when his strength had declined.
"However, your control over your power is still insufficient."
Yinsen had only begun to fuse with and master those powers. Thus, he still needed to combine various rules with his divine power, turning them into weapons or releasing them in the form of offensive spells.
In truth, once fusion reached perfection, every gesture of a god contained countless rules. At a higher level, a god could perfectly control the various rules and powers within their body, rather than destroying innumerable worlds with something as casual as a sneeze.
Yinsen's current state was one in which he could not control them well, so he simply transformed them into weapons and focused on killing his enemy.
The drawback of doing this was naturally that it wasted a great deal of power. The countless attacks that struck "empty space" made that clear enough.
