Although the time spent training in the Gravity Chamber was not long, the results were more obvious than a full year of training under normal conditions. Yinsen estimated that even if Yamcha had not reached the level Goku would attain after training at the temple, he was not far off.
"If this keeps up, will Yamcha change his fate of not even being able to serve as background scenery in the middle and later stages?"
