A few days earlier, King Kai had informed Son Goku that two Saiyans were approaching Earth.
According to Raditz, only four Saiyans remained in the entire universe. Counting Son Goku's son, Gohan, that made five. The identities of those two Saiyans were therefore obvious.
"Why are they coming here?"
Raditz quickly recalled that his scouter had synchronized its data with Vegeta's and Nappa's scouters. They must have seen Kakarot's astonishing Combat Power and come running, right?
Having known Vegeta for many years, Raditz understood the Saiyan Prince's personality extremely well and quickly guessed the real reason: Vegeta definitely couldn't tolerate another Saiyan being stronger than him. Maybe he suspected the scouters had malfunctioned, so he had come to confirm it himself.

He explained everything, including Vegeta's personality and usual methods. Even though Son Goku had yet to meet Vegeta in person, he already understood him quite well.
"So, those two Saiyans are very likely to endanger ordinary people on Earth."
"If they land in a city or near one, that will be almost inevitable."
Forget Vegeta—even Raditz would have killed that farmer with a Combat Power of only five if Son Goku and the others hadn't arrived in time.
"So we're ending our training early to keep Vegeta from hurting ordinary Earthlings."
Even if Yinsen hadn't suggested it, Son Goku would have brought it up himself. Not only was he now a highly respected Martial Artist on Earth, but even if he had no reputation at all, he would still willingly protect this planet.
"Once we've packed up and gotten some rest, Vegeta and Nappa
