After landing, Jiraiya greeted Iron Arm Toad first.
Iron Arm Toad had suffered terribly following Jiraiya earlier. It halfheartedly raised a foreleg, then dispelled the Summoning Technique and vanished in a puff of white smoke.
After glancing at the deflated rubber hemisphere, Jiraiya said,
"Who would've dared carry out an assassination in Kyoto, Land of Fire? So it was the Lava Release Clan from Cloud Hidden Village.

Jiraiya watched as the kunai, wrapped in thin blue wind blades, flew out and split into more than a dozen kunai in midair, shooting toward a large tree off to the side.
The tree trunk was shredded apart, and the tree toppled over.
"An astonishing talent for Wind Release!" Jiraiya immediately saw the value of the technique.
"Built on my technique, you added Wind Release blades, turning it from something that merely relies on thrown Ninja Tools into a combination of numerous small-scale Wind Release attacks.
