Hogger's Great Expedition: The Axe-Wielding Warlord Sets Foot on the Dragon Isles

Leaving aside the exaggerated dark plan of The Light Will Go Out rapidly advancing in secret, no one on Azeroth cared about the demons' whispers in the distant sea of stars. The entire Eastern Continent, from the Northern Borderlands to the Southern Borderlands, was filled with celebration.

The war was over!

That reason alone was enough to make nobles, merchants, and commoners cheer with joy.

The expeditionary force personally led by the Emperor of the Strom'kar Empire had defeated the ancient Old God and its servants. Kul Tiras, isolated overseas, had returned to the Empire's embrace. Though it had suffered a brutal war and everything there needed rebuilding, no longer having to fight meant that every aspect of life affected by the war could return to normal.

Merchants could travel freely to conduct business, while farmers could return home and work without worrying about their wives and daughters being abducted and harmed.

Commoners could continue living under the oppression of their noble lords, barely managing to survive, while the noble lords could happily continue oppressing commoners and use their wealth to generate even more wealth.

Now, these landlords and moneyed men had found a more fashionable way to invest. Rather than lending out money or depositing it in goblin banks, under the Emperor's call, the eloquent salesmen of the Steamwheedle Cartel had spread through every village and city in the Empire, soliciting investments to build factories for the Empire.

The Steamwheedle Cartel's technological reserves, accumulated while profiteering from war, were already enough to support the most primitive "Industrial Revolution." This was also Lothar's next strategy.

Unfortunately, doing such things in a world of magic was rather difficult.

No matter how painstakingly your fertilizer factory produced fertilizer, once it was spread across the fields, it still could not compare to druids
