Rumors had long circulated throughout the cosmos that the Dark Titan had launched the Burning Crusade and sworn to destroy Azeroth because, once the Supreme Star Soul awakened, she would possess power beyond Sargeras. The Dark Titan supposedly feared this and had to eliminate the threat before Azeroth awakened.
