After Khaz'goroth and Aggramar's fallen bodies were defeated upon the Burning Throne and they returned one after another, the Titan Souls of the Pantheon had all returned to this holy ground of creation.

They each sat upon thrones symbolizing their own authority. Though they were only present in the weakened forms of Titan Souls and lacked some of their former majesty, the return of the gods still restored a measure of its past glory to this place, now reduced to ruins.

It carried the air of "the Pantheon's revival begins here."

Aman'Thul, the Father of the Gods, was also here. But unlike the other Titan Souls, he had entered the Pantheon in physical form. The sole problem was that the body he currently commanded had been fashioned by fel energy.

Like Khaz'goroth, he had not yet been fully corrupted by fel energy, allowing Aman'Thul to retain a sliver of reason to resist its seduction. But that reason was only enough to keep him from fully succumbing to fel's call; it could not make his dangerous, fallen body cease its hostility.

The queen trio had entered the Pantheon at the start of the Restoration War. According to the agreement Azshara had previously reached with the Titan Souls, after The Conqueror had "colluded" with the swarm to wipe out those "demon besties," driving Suraya, the World Mother, to release two Titan Souls not yet fully corrupted in despair, Aman'Thul's fallen body was immediately drawn and summoned into the Pantheon by the great power of arcane magic.

But the Titan Souls were too weak.
