"I knew you and senpai weren't that different. So Komachi Chocolate, you're disgusting too..."
Isshiki, looking thoroughly disgusted, said something that awful again. This time, Komachi shot back with a loud, "What did you say!?" Naturally, I was indignant too. Strange... this should have been a heartwarming Hachiman family moment...
"Our dad and mom like those kinds of attractions. After the whole family went a few times, even if you didn't want to, you'd naturally memorize the route."
"That's right. It's not that Komachi is disgusting. It's just perfectly natural."
After I helped smooth things over for Komachi, she snorted and proudly puffed out her chest.
Come to think of it, for people from Chiba Prefecture, Disneyland was probably the first amusement park they ever visited, and in most cases, they went with their families. At least, that was how it was for us.
Amusement parks were the sort of places that left deep impressions on young hearts, and Disneyland stood at the pinnacle of them. Its level of completion as a theme park was simply different, and that initial experience easily became a special memory. Once you came into contact with it, you couldn't stop, gradually becoming addicted. It was basically legal... you know.
Komachi tried to defend herself indignantly, but her momentum suddenly fizzled out. She gave an embarrassed little "ehehe" laugh and added,
"...So, on the other hand, I don't remember ever watching a parade."
"Because our family wasn't interested in that kind of thing..."
After I said that, a faint wry smile appeared on Yuihama's face.
"Ahh, well, you're boys."
Yeah, exactly. Komachi and I both nodded.
But it wasn't just the male faction of Dad and me that had no interest in parades or things like that. Mom, and even Komachi, weren't particularly interested either.
