Even though most of its power had been tightly bound by the invisible golden Chains around it, it still continued to forcefully proliferate, utterly disregarding cost or consequence.
If this continued, the Pale Flesh itself would eventually fall into an almost eternal slumber, becoming the most common kind of thing found deep within the World Tomb.
