Chapter Summaries

After returning from the [Ghost Story Collection] Dungeon with Tong, Bai Zhi let Xia Wen take her upstairs to bathe while Lin Xiaoyi and Mu Qiansè rested. He tried to cheer them up and promised a surprise that evening.

• Bai Zhi returned to the Real World carrying Tong as Xia Wen and the others came back exhausted from the Dungeon.
• Xia Wen took Tong upstairs to clean her, while Lin Xiaoyi and Mu Qiansè remained sprawled on the Sofa.
• Bai Zhi thanked Lin Xiaoyi and Mu Qiansè for the intelligence that helped clear the Dungeon, but Mu Qiansè quietly felt left behind and unsettled.
• Bai Zhi gave each girl a can of Juice and told them to bathe and rest before his promised evening surprise.
