Ch. 142The Clear-Soup Lord

After stabilizing the New East Region through tax relief and freeing slaves, Jingū Kiraku planned an expedition to Hell Valley to recruit the Chinoike Clan. Meanwhile, Uzumaki Yang began training Yahiko, Konan, and Nagato, as a cluster of paper scraps arrived in a valley in the northern Land of Fire.

  • Jingū Kiraku lowered taxes in the New East Region from eighty percent to thirty percent, freed many slaves, and earned the people’s acclaim as Lord Clear Soup.
  • The Loyalty Statue was completed atop Angkor Fortress, and loyalty to the Hidden Rain Village regime rose in the region.
  • Jingū Kiraku received a system reward that increased all ninja units’ HP by twenty percent and decided to travel to Hell Valley.

Jingū Kiraku entered Hell Valley and discovered that a vast Genjutsu formation had trapped the Chinoike Clan there. He stopped their planned sacrifice of Aoie, then overwhelmed the villagers with his presence.

  • Jingū Kiraku entered Hell Valley, endured its toxic gas, and used the four Three-Tomoe Sharingan on his left hand to open a path through the Genjutsu.

Ch. 144Submission or Death?

Jingū Kiraku defeated the Chinoike Clan Head’s Ketsuryūgan Genjutsu and learned that the clan had used sacrifices to provoke eye awakenings and escape Hell Valley. After restraining the villagers the clan head tried to use as weapons, Jingū Kiraku demanded that he choose between submission and death.

  • The Chinoike Clan Head questioned Jingū Kiraku and trapped him in a Ketsuryūgan Genjutsu of a sea of blood.
  • Jingū Kiraku countered with the ocular power of five Three-Tomoe Sharingan and tore through the illusion.
  • Jingū Kiraku entered the clan head’s mental space and learned that the Chinoike Clan used sacrifices to increase the chance of awakening the Ketsuryūgan.
  • Jingū Kiraku freed the bound sacrifice, then stopped the clan head from sending villagers at him as human bombs.
  • Jingū Kiraku bound the villagers with Paper Release and aimed paper weapons at the clan head, demanding submission or death.

Ch. 145Aoie, the Girl

Jingū Kiraku forced the Chinoike Clan to submit and promised to take them out of Hell Valley. He appointed the devoted Aoie as clan head and led her away from the altar.
