Sean followed Newt into a deep, secluded forest. The area had been enchanted and was bathed in moonlight.

On a small cliff, two magical creatures were facing off.

On one side was a leopard-like creature. It had been the source of the roar just now.

On the other was a massive orange three-headed snake, coiled up with its three black-spiked heads constantly flicking their tongues, displaying an extremely dangerous attacking stance.

"A Niffler and a Runespoor. Those two have been fighting for ages," Newt explained.

The Niffler did not look very large and seemed to be an immature specimen. It had not noticed the two approaching and merely let out a low warning growl at the Runespoor.

The Runespoor, over ten feet long, swayed its right head as its body stirred restlessly.

"Roar..." The Niffler's spike-like mane stood on end, and its neck puffed up.

"Hey, hey, you two, listen." Newt stepped forward.

Both magical creatures turned to look at him.

Newt spread his hands helplessly. "We have a guest. Don't make things difficult for me, all right?"

The Niffler and the Runespoor both shifted their gazes to Sean behind Newt.

Sean was still holding the trembling Porlock in his arms. He smiled at both magical creatures.

The Niffler and Runespoor turned to look at each other. After each let out a warning cry, the two quickly separated.

Newt looked surprised. He turned to Sean, his eyes full of amazement. "I thought my opinion of you was already high enough, but it seems your talent exceeds even my imagination."

After hurriedly soothing the frightened little creatures all over him, Sean asked curiously, "Why do you say that, sir?"
