A Provocation Against Dumbledore

The overwhelming black monsters and terrifying giant maws seemed to have had a pause button pressed at Sean's words.

They moved stiffly like malfunctioning mechanical creatures, then drooped their swaying parts as if they had lost their power supply.

Armand Bolton's pupils contracted sharply. His wandless hand instinctively reached toward his inner pocket.

"Imperio." Sean merely waved his wand lazily, and the man froze where he stood.

However, to Sean's surprise, under such a powerful Imperius Curse, the man in charge of this arrest operation quickly showed signs of struggling.

Not bad... Almost as strong as I was in the present world... Sean secretly marveled.

He had already noticed that on this Timeline, quite a few wizards had undergone considerable improvements in strength, whether it was Barty Jr., whom he knew well, or Armand Bolton, whom he had never met before.

Was it the effect of the Magic Power Cleansing mentioned before... Interesting...

Sean gave the other man no chance to keep struggling. He waved his wand again, and Armand Bolton's eyes lost their light.

With utmost respect, he took out the item he had just been reaching for: a black diamond-shaped crystal.

It was an Obsession Entity.

Sean accepted the Obsession Entity and examined it. It was basically no different from the one he held in the present world.

This thing had many uses, and it concealed quite a few secrets as well. He could try researching it on this Timeline... After considering it for a moment, Sean tucked the Obsession Entity into his robes.

He studied Armand Bolton's vacant eyes, then suddenly revealed an inscrutable smile.

"Child, does this place look familiar to you?"

Before the enormous floor-to-ceiling windows, an old man stood by the railing on the second floor, gazing out at the scenery.

"Not familiar."
