What He Found

After Sean left, Snape was still fuming in his office. His chest rose and fell constantly; he was clearly furious.

Whenever he thought of that brat using Daisy to threaten him, Snape felt he ought to poison every drink the boy ever had.

"Sleeping with Daisy..." Snape's fist slammed heavily onto his desk.

That despicable bastard had actually dared to say those words in front of him!

Snape had already made up his mind. Once that brat's business was over, he would make him see what true cruelty was.

Then, there came another knock at the door.

"Who?" Snape's gloomy voice still carried his anger.

"I—" Sean's face peeked through the crack in the door. He gave Snape an awkward smile. "I need quite a large amount. Although I keep plenty of potion ingredients on hand, I'm still short on quite a few. I'm a little pressed for time, and buying more ingredients would take... You see, Professor?"

The air between them seemed to freeze for half a minute. Then Snape's furious roar echoed through nearly the entire first basement corridor.

Inside the ring, Sean repeatedly read over the potion formula Snape had given him. Beside him sat an enormous cauldron and a pile of potion ingredients nearly as high as a hill.

Snape truly deserved his reputation as a renowned Potion Master. Developing Solution was a commonly used potion, generally employed to develop magical photographs—using the traces of magic left in a Magic Camera to preserve moving images.
