"Why are we gathering in the middle of the night...?"

"No idea. The professors came to notify us, and the prefects went through the dormitories one by one shouting for everyone—"

Hogwarts Castle was brightly lit in the middle of the night, and all the students who had already climbed into bed were summoned out.

"Have the older students stand at the outermost perimeter and watch the passages closely, including the routes to the dormitories. If anything happens, report it immediately!"
