At the peak of the Source Tower, countless rays of light gathered, eventually converging into an aged figure.

Deep Sea had descended.

"My preparations... are nearly complete."

He looked toward the Red Robed Man seated upon the throne.

"Oh?"

Countless chessboards floated before Qinglong, along with tens of thousands of clouded mirrors.

One of those mirrors reflected the scene within the City of Light.

Over these past few days, he had watched everything that had happened in the City of Light.

"You're sure your preparations are complete?"

Qinglong smiled. "The spiritual faith gathered by the Church of Light hasn't been reclaimed yet..."

Deep Sea said softly, "That faith is unimportant."

Qinglong narrowed his eyes.

The greatest difficulty humans faced when playing against AI was that their thought processes and computational power were not on the same level.

Everything you could see was merely one corner of the other party's field of vision.

The reason Qinglong had proposed that Deep Sea resolve the spiritual computational power needed for the Eleventh Upgrade on his own was, on one hand, because he still could not fully trust the Main System before him. On the other hand... he wanted to see what sort of moves Deep Sea, granted permission, could make under such harsh and extreme conditions.

"As far as I know, the pieces the Church of Light secretly sent out, along with the faith they have covertly converted... are no small amount."

Qinglong said, "You currently need to gather every scrap of computational power scattered across this world whenever possible... The Church of Light is your greatest trump card."

"Yes."

Deep Sea raised his head and said sincerely, "But even if I reclaim that faith, the computational power still won't be enough, will it?"

"So you simply won't reclaim it?"

Qinglong frowned.

Indeed.
