Stepping Tang San Underfoot
With a piece of candy in his mouth, Ye Qiu looked toward the door as well.
A pretty little girl stood outside the Seventh Dorm. She looked about the same age and height as Ye Qiu.
Her lovely little face was fair with a rosy glow, tender and pink like a ripe peach, making people want to take a bite.
Her clothes were very plain, but exceptionally neat. Her long black hair was braided into a Scorpion Braid that hung past her buttocks.
She looked as delicate as a porcelain doll.
As Ye Qiu examined the girl at the door, a faint, inscrutable smile appeared in his eyes.
So this was Xiao Wu, the 100,000 Year Rogue Rabbit? She certainly looked the part!
He wondered whether, once she grew up, those long legs of hers would really be as good at squeezing as rumored.
Ye Qiu sat alone on his bed, showing no reaction.
Tang San, who had just become the boss, recovered from his brief stupor. He raised a hand to cover his mouth and asked Wang Sheng in a low voice, "Do boys and girls live together here?"
Wang Sheng nodded blankly, his gaze still fixed in place as he lowered his voice as well. "There are dozens of beds in this room, and there's plenty of space. The academy isn't a charity, and we're all still young. I heard they only separate boys and girls at the Intermediate Spirit Master Academy."
As he spoke, Wang Sheng came back to his senses and poked Tang San in the waist.
"Boss, go! Give her a show of strength!"
"Huh?! Isn't that unnecessary?"
Tang San had not expected that, right after becoming boss, he would have to make a move against such a soft, pink little girl.
The girl at the door blinked her innocent big eyes, her brows knitting slightly.
Seeing that no one inside paid any attention to her, she looked up at the sign reading Seventh Dorm again, her frown deepening.
"Can't I go in?"
"You can, but you'll have to wait a moment."
Leaning against the metal bedframe, Ye Qiu answered with a smile.
Although Xiao Wu was delicate and adorable, she was still just a child. He was not about to stare at her in a daze like Tang San and the others. "Wait a moment?!"
The little girl lightly touched her pink lips with a finger, completely puzzled.
Seeing this, Wang Sheng grew anxious and kept poking Tang San in the waist, signaling that he could not break the rules.
Tang San sighed helplessly. He could only reluctantly walk forward and stop in front of her, looking somewhat awkward.
"Hello, I'm Tang San, the boss of this dorm. We have a rule in Seventh Dorm: new work-study students have to show their strength. So, I'd like to spar with you. Is that okay?"
"Spar? Are you sure?"
At the mention of sparring, the little girl's rosy, doll-like eyes suddenly lit up.
So that was why they had made her wait? Big Sister Xiao Wu liked this!
"I'm sure!"
Tang San nodded lightly.
"Okay, okay! Then let's do it!"
Excitement appeared on the little girl's face as she placed the school uniform she had been holding onto an empty bed nearby.
She happily turned to Tang San and gave a brief introduction. "My name is Xiao Wu—Wu as in dance. My Spirit is Rabbit, the cute little white rabbit kind. I have Innate Full Soul Power! What about you?"
As Xiao Wu spoke, two adorable dimples appeared on her cheeks, making her even more captivating.
Even Ye Qiu's eyes held a trace of amazement. How could Tang San, who in his past life had been obsessed with hidden weapons and had barely interacted with the opposite sex, remain unaffected? He was already staring at Xiao Wu in a daze.
Meanwhile, Wang Sheng and the others erupted into an uproar again, looking at one another and chattering excitedly.
"Another Innate Full Soul Power!"
"Hm?"
Xiao Wu gave Wang Sheng and the others a strange glance, then looked back at Tang San, her cheeks puffing out slightly. "Hey! Are you going to fight or not?!"
"Ah—oh. My Spirit is Blue Silver Grass. I also have Innate Full Soul Power!"
Tang San suddenly came back to his senses and answered quickly.
"Blue Silver Grass? Even such a weak Spirit can have Innate Full Soul Power?"
Xiao Wu tilted her head, looking at Tang San in surprise.
Though she found it strange, she only made a casual remark about it.
She flicked her Scorpion Braid and said with a smile, "Then let's begin!"
He called out happily.
Before Tang San could react, Xiao Wu had already bent her right knee, her toes snapping out in an instant. Her left foot remained where it was, while the toes of her right foot shot high into the air, jabbing toward Tang San's chin.
The strike did not seem particularly powerful, but it was incredibly fast, startling Tang San.
But Tang San quickly recovered.
He focused and immediately retreated at high speed.
Xiao Wu pushed off with her left foot and continued to dart toward him. Her light body swept through the air, one Jade Foot already swinging toward Tang San's head.
With a smack, Xiao Wu's ankle was caught in Tang San's hand.
At that moment, Tang San also realized that Xiao Wu was no ordinary girl and became a little more serious, flinging her away with a backhanded throw.
"Ah—!"
The onlookers cried out in alarm.
Just as they thought this delicate-looking girl was about to have an intimate encounter with the floor—
Xiao Wu twisted her body and landed steadily, leaving Tang San, who had been about to step forward to catch her, utterly astonished.
Whoosh! Xiao Wu clearly had no idea what martial virtue was.
Taking him by surprise, she planted a hand on the ground and leapt high into the air, sending a lethal scissor kick straight at Tang San's head.
Smack! Tang San was no pushover either. Both hands easily blocked Xiao Wu's attack.
Her feet were blocked.
Xiao Wu did not lose heart. Her waist and body exerted force together.
Her entire body seemed to fold in half, and her long Scorpion Braid whipped toward Tang San's slightly dark face.
So fast!
Tang San marveled inwardly.
He quickly released his hands and tried to retreat, but it was already too late.
Xiao Wu's little feet had hooked around the back of his neck.
Smack! "Hiss—!"
The Scorpion Braid mercilessly lashed Tang San across the face, cracking sharply and leaving a red mark.
The burning pain on his face made Tang San suck in a sharp breath.
Strike while the iron was hot!
Xiao Wu floated down to the ground. In the blink of an eye, she raised her right leg high again, her little foot kicking up from below and striking Tang San squarely beneath the chin.
"Ah—!" Tang San cried out miserably as his small body was launched into the air.
Biu~
He soared through the air, tracing a beautiful arc before crashing heavily to the ground with a thud.
"Ah."
Even Tang San could not help feeling his blood and energy churn after falling from such a height, every bone in his body aching.
Ye Qiu, watching from the side, could not help baring his teeth as well.
Just thinking about it was painful enough.
Tang San's body twitched slightly as he struggled to get up.
But Xiao Wu had already stepped forward.
Descending from above, she planted her whole body atop Tang San's back, looking down at him with an incomparably smug expression.
"How was that? I won!"
Looking at Xiao Wu stepping on him, Tang San gave a bitter smile. There was no need to deny it; he had never cared much for the position of dorm leader anyway. Lying on the ground, he gave a slight nod.
"I lost. According to our rules, since you beat me, you'll be the leader of the Seventh Dorm from now on!"
"The leader?"
A trace of delight appeared in Xiao Wu's eyes. There was little surprise, but much more excitement.
"Sounds pretty fun! Fine! Then from now on, I'll be your leader!"
Accustomed to acting like the big sister in front of Da Ming and Er Ming, she quickly slipped into the role.
She bounced excitedly twice, put her hands on her hips, and shouted at Wang Sheng and the others, "Listen up! From now on, I'm your leader. My name is Xiao Wu, Wu as in dancing. From now on, you all have to call me Sister Xiao Wu!"
"Come on, hurry up and let me hear you say it!"
Not expecting Tang San to lose to the delicate-looking Xiao Wu, Wang Sheng and the others snapped out of their shock and hurriedly shouted together at her.
"Hello, Sister Xiao Wu!"
"Good! Hello, everyone!"
Xiao Wu was beside herself with excitement.
She hadn't expected that even after coming to the human world, she would still be the big sister.
"Xiao Wu, can you let me go now?"
At that moment, a weak, listless voice came from beneath her feet. Xiao Wu wasn't heavy, but Tang San was still only a child!
Ye Qiu's eye twitched.
He hadn't expected Tang San to be able to endure it for so long even while Xiao Wu was jumping around on top of him. Only now did he speak up.
Xiao Wu froze for a moment.
She had been feeling that the ground beneath her feet wasn't quite solid. Looking down—
Tang San was still trapped under her foot.
"Ah! I completely forgot about you!"
Xiao Wu chuckled awkwardly, lightened her steps, and hopped down to the ground. She didn't forget to remind Tang San either.
"Remember to call me Sister Xiao Wu!"
Tang San gave a bitter smile and silently climbed to his feet. There was no way he was going to call her sister.
"Thanks!"
Xiao Wu burst out laughing at that.
"Haha. You're pretty interesting. I beat you up like that, yet you didn't get angry. You're even thanking me instead!"
Wishing everyone a happy life!
