Background / History

Sacrifice and Isolation

Ah Yin was the Blue Silver Emperor, Tang Hao’s wife, and the birth mother of their child, Tang San. Her sacrifice left Tang Hao with her spirit ring and a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Bone. Because she did not sacrifice her soul, a seed remained from which her body could regenerate 61 197 608.

Tang Hao kept the replanted seed in a cave behind a waterfall. Ah Yin spent approximately ten years without speaking to anyone, thinking constantly about her husband and child. When Ye Qiu reached her, her regenerated body possessed less than ten years of cultivation 59 60 61.

Connection with Ye Qiu

Tang Hao brought Ye Qiu to the cave to test whether Venom could possess Ah Yin and accelerate her recovery. She initially resisted the spiritual connection, but agreed to cooperate after Ye Qiu shared memories of Tang Hao and promised companionship, access to the outside world, and opportunities to see her family 60 61.

Ye Qiu bound her imprint to his second soul ring and began cultivating with her. After roughly half a month of repeated visits, Tang Hao entrusted her plant body to him. Ye Qiu kept her beside his dormitory bed and later planted her near the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well 62 63 64 77.

Rejection of the Tang Family

After examining Ye Qiu’s memories, Ah Yin became suspicious of Tang San’s unfamiliar techniques and behavior. She concluded that a foreign spirit had occupied her son’s body, and began seeking revenge against the person calling himself Tang San 66 68 70.

Her remaining trust in Tang Hao deteriorated when he would not help her return to the Blue Silver Forest. Later, his guilty responses convinced her that he had already noticed Tang San’s abnormality but continued supporting him. Ah Yin privately rejected Tang Hao as a husband, regarding him as a stranger—or an enemy if he obstructed her revenge 114 122 196 197.

She concealed this rejection during their conversation, presenting herself as a mother still devoted to “Little San.” By claiming that her Soul Bone’s source power could aid her recovery, she persuaded Tang Hao to return it, then gave it to Ye Qiu 197 198 199.

Return to the Blue Silver Forest

Ye Qiu escorted Ah Yin home, where the Blue Silver Grass recognized their emperor and opened a path for them. The Blue Silver King welcomed her after nearly twenty years of absence. Their collective offering rapidly restored her cultivation, while Ah Yin promised to protect her subjects rather than abandon them again 161 162.

Her attachment to Ye Qiu developed into an acknowledged romantic commitment. She agreed to become his wife, and later used her subjects’ concealment to prevent Tang Hao, Tang Xiao, and Tang San from finding her. Through the Blue Silver King, she sent them away with instructions to return after reaching Soul King 368 522.

Human Restoration and Later Activities

An unknown existence descended into the forest, suspended its surroundings, and offered Ah Yin power through an unexplained trade. The resulting transformation restored her physical human body. Her agreement prevented her from explaining the arrangement to Ye Qiu, and the relevant memories were sealed so that his examination revealed only the incoming energy 542 543 544 621.

Afterward, Ah Yin accompanied Ye Qiu beyond the forest. She fought the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger, was temporarily reverted to grass in its Life and Death Arena, and later helped capture Shi Nian through a Martial Soul Fusion Skill 550 552 569.

During a later encounter with the Tangs, she spoke through Ye Qiu while concealing her true circumstances. She maintained the appearance of concern for Tang Hao, helped heal the group, and secured their acceptance of her departure for the Blue Silver Forest 608 609.

Appearance

Ah Yin’s spiritual form and restored human body share the same face. Her human appearance is that of a beautiful, mature woman with a graceful figure 162 543.

  • Hair and eyes: Azure 162.
  • Clothing: A blue gown patterned with gold; blue-gold robes after her physical restoration 162 543.
  • Plant body: Soft branches and leaves marked with golden patterns; the gold becomes more brilliant as her cultivation recovers 61 162.
  • Spiritual manifestation: Initially incorporeal, becoming increasingly solid through her subjects’ offerings 162 163.
  • Blue Silver True Body: Translucent, blue-lustrous skin accented by golden light; her eyes turn golden 550.

Personality

Ah Yin is gentle and affectionate, but prolonged isolation leaves her intensely afraid of returning to darkness. Once Ye Qiu gives her access to the outside world, she actively seeks his company, asking him to remain connected even if only to talk. His teasing frequently embarrasses or irritates her 70 77 79.

Her gentleness does not prevent vindictiveness. Believing her child has been displaced by a foreign spirit, she wants to kill Tang San herself. She also becomes capable of deliberate deception, hiding her hostility from Tang Hao to recover her Soul Bone and remain with Ye Qiu 158 197 198.

As emperor, she feels guilty about having abandoned her subjects and renews her responsibility toward them. Her loyalty to Ye Qiu becomes equally explicit: she promises to help him regardless of what happens 162 545 716.

Abilities & Skills

Unceasing Growth

Her first spirit skill converts Soul Power into life force 79 163.

  • Healing effectiveness depends on the amount of Soul Power expended 79.
  • She uses it to ease Ye Qiu’s fatigue during their journey home and to heal injured members of the Tang group 161 609.

Blue Silver Fragrance

Her second spirit skill releases a restorative fragrance 163.

  • Detoxifies and removes negative conditions.
  • Refreshes Ye Qiu and invigorates nearby Blue Silver Grass during its demonstration 163.

Blend with Light and Dust

Her third spirit skill disguises her appearance and works with the Blue Silver Domain to provide invisibility 163.

  • Ye Qiu copies it to change his appearance to blue hair and blue eyes 204.
  • Ah Yin and Ye Qiu use the skill with the domain to travel invisibly after leaving the forest 545.

Blue Silver Wings

Her fourth spirit skill produces wings woven from Blue Silver Grass 163.

  • Enables flight.
  • Absorbs ambient energy to replenish Soul Power, vitality, or spiritual power.
  • Her rooted plant body cannot properly demonstrate flight, despite forming the wings 163.
  • After restoring human form, she flies using blue grass-woven wings 543.

Blue Silver Overlord Spear

Her fifth spirit skill is a single-target attack with powerful piercing force 163.

  • Her demonstration coils her vines into a drill-like blue-gold whirlwind that leaves a deep pit in the ground 163.
  • Ye Qiu initially cannot use the copied skill because he is still a Soul Ancestor 164.

Life Withering

Her sixth spirit skill drains a target’s life force and Soul Power 554.

  • Provides an offensive counterpart to her healing abilities 554.

Blue Silver True Body

Her seventh spirit skill transforms her into a humanoid Blue Silver Emperor 550.

  • Amplifies all Blue Silver Emperor skills by 100% 545.
  • Allows blades of Blue Silver Emperor grass to serve as vessels for her body.
  • She can relocate within their reach to evade attacks or strike from another position; preventing this requires eliminating every available vessel 545.

Blue Silver Domain

The domain draws on surrounding plant life and becomes stronger in vegetation-rich environments 545.

  • Recovers to its second stage after her return home 163.
  • Its All Things in Nature stage assimilates surrounding plants and directs them to attack.
  • Suppresses enemies’ overall attributes by 10%, with suppression increasing the longer they remain inside 545.
  • Can collect tiny amounts of energy from countless Blue Silver Grass plants to restore Soul Power without harming them 553.
  • Its highest realm is identified as Sea Accepts All Rivers, associated with forest-based invincibility 716.

Ten Thousand Woods Contend for Spring

Her eighth spirit skill, granted by a ten-thousand-year ring, extends her control beyond the Blue Silver Emperor’s original abilities 716.

  • Turns all plants within the Blue Silver Domain—including buried seeds and roots—into weapons.
  • Grants them Blue Silver Emperor traits and access to healing, life-devouring, and growth abilities.
  • Allows their shapes to change at her command, including forming roots into a coiling dragon 716.

Blue Silver Emperor Origin

Ah Yin can give another person a portion of her life origin 621.

  • Gives Ye Ling’er an origin-infused energy sphere intended to protect her health and accelerate recovery from injuries that are not too serious.
  • The protection lasts until the supplied origin is depleted.
  • The gift also contains divine power, which Ah Yin cannot disclose because of her agreement with the unknown god.
  • Supplying it leaves her visibly pale 621.

Spiritual Connection and Fusion

Her bond with Ye Qiu enables mental communication, shared memories and senses, joint cultivation, and skill replication 60 61 62.

  • Her imprint occupies Ye Qiu’s second soul ring 62.
  • Venom possession substantially increases her strength 164.
  • Their Martial Soul Fusion Skill helps capture Shi Nian 569.
  • The connection is not unrestricted: memories sealed by the unknown existence remain inaccessible to Ye Qiu 544 621.

Equipment / Items

  • Hundred-Thousand-Year Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone — Her own Soul Bone, retained by Tang Hao after her sacrifice. She retrieves it and gifts it to Ye Qiu, who absorbs it 197 199 222 320.
  • Flowerpot — Houses her regenerated plant body while Ye Qiu carries and tends her. It shatters when her subjects’ offerings cause rapid growth 64 70 162.

Relationships

  • Ye Qiu — Caretaker, cultivation partner, and eventual husband. Their initially unequal and teasing relationship develops into mutual affection; Ah Yin gives him her Soul Bone and promises to support him 61 199 368 716.
  • Tang Hao — Formerly her beloved husband. She privately repudiates him after concluding that he knowingly accepted the spirit occupying their child’s body, while continuing to deceive him during later encounters 197 198 609.
  • Tang San — Bears the identity of her birth son, but Ah Yin regards the present Tang San as an intruder responsible for her child’s loss. She vows to kill him, preferably herself 70 158 197.
  • Blue Silver King — Loyal senior subject whom she calls “Little King.” Leads the clan’s offerings, helps form her seventh ring, and guards the forest during her absence 162 543 545.
  • Blue Silver Grass clan — Her subjects. Their devotion restores her cultivation, and she promises never to abandon them again 162 545.
  • Tang Xiao — Regards her as his “Third Sister” and welcomes their apparent reunion. Ah Yin uses his concern to support her departure from the Tangs 609.
  • Ye Ling’er — Ye Qiu and Liu Erlong’s daughter. Ah Yin helps soothe her and strengthens her with life origin and concealed divine power 621 714.
  • Huo Wu — Protects her during the confrontation with Shi Nian and carries her afterward 569 570.
  • Unknown god — Supplies the power behind her physical restoration and subsequent Godly Trial. Their agreement restricts what she can reveal to Ye Qiu 543 544 621 712.
