Uchiha Fugaku Obtains the Mangekyō

"Rinnegan!"

At the thought of the Rinnegan, longing inevitably appeared in Uchiha Fugaku's eyes.

This was clear from the original story, where Nagato, relying on a pair of transplanted Rinnegan, destroyed Konoha—one of the Five Great Shinobi Villages—in a single strike, leaving it utterly unable to resist.

And that was not even the full power of the Rinnegan.

After all, they were transplanted eyes and could not perfectly merge with the body, so their power when used was inferior to that of their original owner.

He searched through the previous owner's memories, confirming the abilities of these Mangekyō.

These Mangekyō would become his greatest trump card for now, so he had to thoroughly understand their abilities.
