Uchiha Fugaku and Nagato continued their battle as Nagato escalated to Planetary Devastation, dragging Fugaku and the Iron Fortress skyward. Elsewhere, Obito learned that the Five Great Ninja Villages had set a trap for the Akatsuki Organization and ambushed its members.

• Nagato broke Fugaku’s Perfect Susanoo with Chibaku Tensei, but Fugaku used genjutsu and a bone forest to survive Nagato’s attacks.
• Obito’s fight with Rasa was interrupted by Kakashi and Chiyo, and Obito realized the Kage Summit was a trap aimed at the Akatsuki Organization.
• Killer B, Kitsuchi, Hozuki Mangetsu, and Jiraiya appeared to support the other Kage and attack the Akatsuki members.
• Fugaku sent regenerating bone dragons after Nagato, who countered with Planetary Devastation and began pulling Fugaku, the bone forest, and the Iron Fortress toward its black sphere.

The allied force reached the Land of Rain and discovered that chakra-laced clouds and rain likely formed a barrier around the village.

• The eyeless boy used the Giant Tenseigan to observe the renewed war, declared the shinobi world mistaken, and led Humanoid Puppets toward the passage to the shinobi world.
• Second Pillar and Naruto Uzumaki told the recovering Uchiha Fugaku they wanted to become stronger, and Fugaku encouraged them.

Uchiha Fugaku forced his way into Otogakure to make Orochimaru reveal where Akatsuki was hiding. Orochimaru appeared and summoned seven former Kage with Impure World Reincarnation, leaving them facing Fugaku.

• Uchiha Fugaku entered the Land of Rice disguised as a Wandering Ninja and demanded that Orochimaru meet him.
• When Otogakure ninja attacked, Uchiha Fugaku immobilized three, scattered a dozen more, and defeated Tayuya and three of the Sound Four while Kimimaro held his ground.
• Orochimaru emerged after ordering Kimimaro to stop, and Uchiha Fugaku revealed his identity before asking where Akatsuki was hiding.

Orochimaru used his perfected Impure World Reincarnation to send seven past Kage against Uchiha Fugaku, confident their immortal bodies could defeat him. Fugaku overwhelmed them with his Tenseigan and Truth-Seeking Orbs, and the chapter ended with four Kage failing to regenerate after he destroyed them.

Uchiha Fugaku and his allies interrupted the Ten-Tails’ revival and rescued Sora, then Fugaku overwhelmed Nagato with the power of the Truth-Seeking Orbs. The chapter left Nagato gravely wounded and his legs destroyed as Fugaku’s attack pierced through him.

• Uchiha Fugaku pulled Sora away from the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, and Number Two Spore Clone escaped with the boy while Kakashi, Jiraiya, and Number One Spore Clone held off the Akatsuki.
• Zetsu sent Tobi and numerous White Zetsu clones after Sora as Nagato confronted Fugaku.
• Uchiha Fugaku blocked Nagato’s Shinra Tensei with a Truth-Seeking Orb shield and struck Nagato and the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path with six orbs.

Uchiha Fugaku killed Nagato with Hidan’s Curse Killing, but Nagato used his last moments to revive Uchiha Madara with the Reanimation Jutsu. Madara learned that Fugaku had become a Six Paths-level threat, took back his Rinnegan, and went with Uchiha Obito and Zetsu to confront him.

• Uchiha Obito rescued the mortally wounded Nagato with Kamui, but Uchiha Fugaku used Nagato’s blood to curse him and stab his own heart.
• Black Zetsu possessed the dying Nagato and made him summon the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path and use the Reanimation Jutsu to revive Uchiha Madara.
• Uchiha Obito restrained Konan while Black Zetsu used Nagato’s body; Konan broke free, attacked them, and died after Uchiha Obito pierced her with branches.
