Like thunder from the depths of the cosmos, the furious roar seemed to shatter the entire pitch-black domain.
Space shook, and the colossal shadow of the Evil God at the heart of the domain began to collapse. His body shifted between solid and illusory, chunks seemingly peeling away and turning into black mist that dissipated. That towering form also began to break apart into dust, scattering into the darkness on the wind.
"How could this be?"
The Evil God sounded as though he were furious enough to spit blood.
He was a god! A god capable of destroying everything and bringing the world to its end!
And he had actually been grabbed by the other side and forcibly fused! Could anyone believe that!?
If he could not win, the guy just fused him? How could such a shameless thing still exist in this world? And the pressure released by that card was exceptionally powerful, nearly on par with the Evil Gods themselves.
It made no sense. Nothing about it made sense!
As an Evil God, he had existed for many years and seen far more than ordinary humans. Defeat, sealing—what storms had he not weathered?
But being fused was truly a first.
At last, the Evil God's shadow shattered. The humanoid figure that had manifested before Judai and dueled him could no longer hold itself together, completely dispersing. The Duel Disk the opponent had used had also been temporarily formed from black mist just before the battle; now that the duel was over, its physical form likewise broke apart and vanished.
Yet the Deck used by the Evil God did not disappear. Instead, its cards scattered across the ground.
Judai stepped forward and quickly inspected the Deck, then lightly frowned.
Yubel said, "There's no Evil God?"
"Yeah." Judai rose
