Paradox said coldly.
"History has become chaotic. I am not yet sure whether you are one of the anomalies within it or the culprit behind them."
"But one thing is certain: your existence has surely pushed this world one step closer to destruction."
Kira frowned.
When Paradox said he was a duelist who should not exist, Kira already had a vague guess why. Perhaps it was because he was a transmigrator.
Fujiki Kira had originally existed in this world, but if he had not transmigrated into him, then following the original owner's path, he would likely have lived an ordinary life without leaving much of a mark on history.
His transmigration had changed Fujiki Kira's original life trajectory and rewritten the history of Duel Monsters.
Thinking about it, that was only natural. Kira was not merely a Duel King who was good at playing cards; he had developed countless Decks and unearthed the potential of all sorts of monsters and Decks. Everything he had done was enough to alter the course of Duel Monsters history. It would not even be wrong to say that he himself was history's new direction.
"In any case, your importance is no less than that of Pegasus, the Father of Duel Monsters."
Paradox glanced again at the device on his wrist.
"Although I do not know what role you play in history's chaos, you must be eliminated regardless."
Kira already knew this man's background, so he had a rough idea of what was going on. Mokuba, however, felt as though he was listening to gibberish and could not help scratching his head. "What the heck has this guy been talking about all this time?"
But no matter what, he had to win the duel first.
