"World destruction?"
Kira sighed.
The world was facing destruction again? Couldn't this world ever catch a break? Why couldn't everyone just live peaceful lives, play cards, and retire in peace?
"All right, what is it this time?" Kira asked. "Let me guess, another powerful ancient monster from another world?"
"What? No."
Dr. Gondo shook his head, then spoke with a grave expression.
"It's the person you just brought back. Up until now, we've been trying to investigate his origins. We're fairly certain he came from a Parallel Reality that is extremely similar to ours, yet has no point of intersection with it. You understand what that means, don't you?"
Kira nodded. "I do. But what does that have to do with the World End?"
"The issue is that he himself doesn't seem to know why he appeared here." Dr. Gondo said solemnly. "We questioned him. Originally, he merely intended to return to the past Timeline of his own reality.
But it now seems that while he was performing Time-Space Travel, the spacetime of two dimensions became entangled. Two realities that should never have intersected crossed paths. During his journey through time, he was swept into that turbulent current and accidentally arrived in our world."
Kira understood. "Coming here was entirely an accident."
"Yes. Our team was very curious as to why such an accident had occurred, so we conducted further research. Then we discovered this terrifying fact."
As Dr. Gondo spoke, a somewhat horrified expression appeared on his face.
"The reason he was swept into that turbulent current that should not have existed was likely because the two worlds we inhabit are drawing closer to each other."
