Blasted off the platform by Junk Barrage's three-hit combo, Ushio crashed headfirst onto the ground, gritting his teeth so hard his eyes nearly split with rage.
For an ordinary person, falling like that would at least mean a mild concussion. But as everyone knew, in the world of Yu-Gi-Oh!, anyone who wanted to play cards needed to be physically fit. Just as aspiring Trainers in the neighboring Pokémon world needed superhuman physiques to amount to anything, duelists in Yu-Gi-Oh! were all superhuman by default.
Back then, Ushio had pursued Yusei on a D-Wheel, diving from high altitude with both rider and vehicle. From that height, even Marvel's Captain America would at least need a Vibranium shield to cushion the fall, and he would still have to pause for two seconds after landing before getting back up. But Ushio had been completely fine, immediately hopping back on his bike and continuing the duel. His terrifying superhuman constitution was plain to see.
