Just as Kira had expected, Sherry and Gōchi came to the Security Maintenance Bureau again early the next morning.
What had happened last night was full of strangeness. With Sherry's card as a medium, Kira had successfully communicated with Z-ONE and gained quite a bit. But from the perspective of the others, the whole affair had been exceedingly bizarre.
As far as they were concerned, once the card had been analyzed by the Supercomputer, the dimension had split open, space had shattered, everything had spun, and they had all lost consciousness. When they woke up, they had already been dumped onto the lawn outside the building.
Naturally, they had come back to ask "Godwin" exactly what had happened.
But Kira did not tell them about Z-ONE for the time being. There was simply too much information, and ordinary people would have found it hard to believe. He only said that he had been transported elsewhere just like them, leaving out his conversation with Z-ONE.
Sherry was somewhat disappointed. This trip seemed to have yielded little in practical terms, but Kira had indeed proven that the card named "Z-ONE" in her possession contained extraordinary power. For some reason, it possessed the utterly unreasonable ability to shatter space and teleport people instantly.
This undoubtedly supported the credibility of some of Kira's earlier claims, making Sherry take the possibility of time travel even more seriously.
Kira then returned the "Z-ONE" card to Sherry.
The card could not be used at present anyway. It was merely a key for activating the Time Machine. Its effect box was completely blank; it was clearly an unfinished, inactive card that could not be used in a duel at all.
Besides, he and Sherry were establishing an alliance, not standing on opposing sides. Sherry was not some heinous
