The image of Spear Dragon from Mr. T's hand was projected onto the Field. The dragon with a spear-like mouth roared, blasting Dolphin Bro's sonic wave back at him. Not only had it failed to destroy the Monster in Mr. T's hand, but the recoil struck Kira instead.

Still, Kira remained composed. Dolphin Bro only had 800 ATK, so he had naturally prepared for the possibility that his opponent had no Monsters with lower ATK in hand.
But 500 Life Points were no big deal. Getting an early look at his opponent's hand and learning about his Deck was well worth it. After all, Mr. T used a different Deck every time he appeared. Seeing his hand in advance gave Kira valuable information and let him mentally prepare for how the Duel might unfold.
