Lina: "Normal Summon 'Ten'yantsū'!"
Lina slapped her Monster Card onto her D-Wheel, and a Starlight Vortex immediately materialized beside it. A pale-faced clown appeared on her Field, a mocking smile curled at the corners of his bright red lips. He wore a comical purple uniform and hat, and his grin seemed full of derision.

"Ten'yantsū, huh." Kira narrowed his eyes.
He remembered that Diwein seemed to have used this Monster too. But the grass over that old acquaintance's grave must have grown several feet high by now.
"So that's how it is. The Psychic Team." Kira seemed to have only just understood the origin of the team's name. "Could it be that you all use Psychic-Type Monsters?"
Lina's expression shifted slightly as she said in a low voice, "You... didn't even look up information on your opponents before the match?"
Unlike the others, the Psychic Team might have been making its WRGP preliminaries debut as well, but they were already a well-known team. Last year, they had even won a major Team Match championship in North America.
They had been prepared for the disadvantage of being a famous team like theirs. Anyone could study their Decks and tactics through past records, while they knew very little about teams that had never competed before.
Yet despite being mentally prepared for that, their first opponent had just told them that he had not done any homework at all?
"Oh, I've been busy lately. You know how it is, officer." Kira sighed. "When you have an entire city's livelihood to manage, you find it really hard to make time for unimportant things."
The moment Lina heard that, anger flared in her chest.
Unimportant things? Was he saying they were all insignificant nobodies in his eyes?
It was bad enough that
