That was because Light's Gold Sarcophagus possessed the resistance of "cannot be destroyed by Monster Effects."
The cutting rays were likewise blocked by the energy barrier formed from the Xyz Materials around Fallen Angel of Light, Noble Demon. More rays then slashed toward Droube's Set Cards in the Back Row, but he immediately chained the activation of that Set Card.
"It's not over yet! I'll also chain the effect of Fallen Angel of Light, Noble Demon and activate my Set Card, the Trap Card 'Number: Stack Light Propulsion'!"
Droube shouted.
