The D-Wheel tore through space once more, riding the currents of spacetime before breaking through the barrier. Kira had returned once again to this realm of Synchro.
But his first thought was whether he had come to the wrong place.
The sky was crimson, the air heavy and oppressive. Dark-red clouds blanketed the city, and everything lay shrouded in a dim, bloody hue.
Kira had seen this scene before, and not long ago at that—in the Xyz Dimension.
When Barian World—or rather, Becta—had arranged for Mr. Heart City to launch a massive invasion of the Human World in the Xyz Dimension, scattering Don Thousand's million handmade counterfeit Number cards across the world, the sky in the Xyz Dimension had looked just like this.
Even the aura coming from all directions—the dangerous, violent, restless energy—reminded Kira of the large-scale Number riots in the Xyz Dimension.
"Mm, Chaos, do you think this is the Synchro Dimension? Or did we get lost?" Kira asked, turning his head.
The semi-retired Black Luster Soldier silently floated out, one hand resting on his sword hilt. "This is indeed the Synchro Dimension we visited before."
Kira had asked him because he knew Black Luster Soldier was the most sensitive to things like dimensions and spacetime. If Black Luster Soldier said it was right, then there could be no mistake.
Besides, Kira checked the positioning system on the D-Wheel. The dimensional compass installed on it also confirmed that this was unquestionably the Synchro Dimension.
So if this was the Synchro Dimension, how could there be a Number reaction here?
Kira considered it for a moment. "Silent, give me wings."
Silent Magician floated out and lightly waved her hand. White light bloomed from her staff, and a gentle halo enveloped the D-Wheel as translucent white wings like Pegasus's sprouted
