The blond-haired girl skipped down the street, a Duel Disk strapped to her arm. Her golden twin-tails swayed at either side as she hummed a little tune.
"Darling has come to America, so I have to treat him properly~" The girl smiled happily.
Her name was Rebecca Hopkins. At just twelve years old, she had won the American Duel Champion title and possessed top-tier computer skills capable of easily breaching KaibaCorp's firewall. She was a true prodigy.
But after meeting Yugi Mutou, Rebecca had become deeply infatuated with Yugi and considered herself his girlfriend. Whenever she saw him, she would eagerly throw herself into his arms and call him "Darling."
Rebecca also clearly knew that Yugi had a second soul inside him. She could easily tell the difference between the two Yugis, and she knew for certain that her Darling was the timid-looking original personality.
Rebecca liked the real Yugi Mutou she normally saw, not the cool substitute who only showed up during Duels.
A voice spoke from behind her. "You... seem to be quite familiar with Yugi Mutou?"
Rebecca turned around and looked at the strangely dressed man behind her in confusion.
He wore an odd outfit and a cape, looking as though he were cosplaying some anime character. He had a strange model of Duel Disk on his arm that she had never seen before, but it was still enough to tell that he was probably a Duelist.
Rebecca gave him a sly smile. "Ah, are you trying to get Darling's autograph through me? Darling is a celebrity, after all. There are plenty of people like you. It's such a headache."
