Rafael's Guardian Spirit shattered to pieces, leaving only feathers imbued with holy light drifting slowly down. The burly blond man kept his arm outstretched, his gaze unfocused as he watched the feathers fill the sky.
Several seconds passed before that outstretched hand finally lowered, like a heart that had been hanging in suspense had finally died.
Rafael lowered his head, his expression dark for several seconds.
"It was me. I underestimated you," he said sinisterly.
The next moment, the earth split open.
As though from the deepest reaches of the Underworld, pure black deathly energy surged from the fissure. A demonic claw wreathed in an Aura of Darkness reached out from the crack and slammed into the ground, its five fingers gouging deep fractures into the earth.
What emerged from within was a demon.
Fallen from light into darkness, from angel into demon. The holy maiden Guardian - Aetos had transformed into this corrupted form, wearing a terrifying white mask. Her blond hair was a tangled mess, her fingers were like blades, and her burly body rose from the darkness, radiating a sinister aura like that of the Grim Reaper.
