That's right, in the original GX, this 'Judgment of Anubis' was a card used by the well-known side character Daichi Misawa. It was originally a Trap specifically for Zombie Type monsters. If you Banish five Zombie Type monsters from your Graveyard, you can Special Summon a Zombie Type monster from your Deck.

But Ryuzaki, being a Dinosaur Type Duelist, obviously doesn't have any Zombie Type monsters. However, in the anime environment, using it as a similar substitute for Trap Hole is actually still somewhat useful.

After all, Duelists in this world don't have as much freedom when building their Decks; they often use whatever they have on hand. If they happen to pull this card from a pack, even a non-Zombie Type user might consider including it.

Reflected in the cannon fire, Ryuzaki's vision blurred. In that moment of trance, Kira across from him seemed to overlap with another figure from his memory.

Under the roar of the cannons, he hallucinated, hearing the voice of an old friend from years past.
