"Bandit Keith?" he asked uncertainly.

The man removed his sunglasses and flashed an unsettling grin.

It really was him.

Bandit Keith, the minor boss from the early Duelist Kingdom arc of Yu-Gi-Oh! DM. He had once been a Prize Hunter known in the United States as the "Card Professor." At his peak, he was unbeatable across America and hailed as the American Champion, a Duel Star of immense strength and limitless promise.

Until one day, when he challenged Pegasus, the Father of Duel Monsters. Pegasus had not even dueled him personally, instead sending a little friend to duel him while he sat in the stands chatting and laughing with Seto Kaiba beside him. To Keith's utter disbelief, that child defeated him using nothing but the countermeasures written on the little notes Pegasus had provided. Keith's pride was shattered, and from then on, he descended into darkness and ruin.

But that was old history from the early days of Duel Monsters. This man should have exited the stage long ago.

Though his attire remained similar after all these years, his appearance had changed considerably. Kira had only confirmed his identity after hearing him admit it himself.

Bandit Keith put a cigarette between his lips, pulled out a lighter, and lit it with a snap.
