"I'll take the first turn. Draw."

D.D. drew, then adjusted the glasses on his nose and cast a cold look at Kira.

He might have been the Duel King, but this was far too arrogant. He had so brazenly declared that he would take Destiny HERO - Plasma's card, speaking and acting as though Ultimate D already bore his name.

He simply had no regard for a World Champion like him.

D.D. lowered his head. The glare on his lenses obscured his eyes, making him seem all the more sinister.

"Looks like I've truly been underestimated," he said flatly. "Then let the Duel King see the power of a champion with every restraint removed."

He inserted a card into his Duel Disk.

"Spell Card, 'Graceful Charity.' Draw three cards from my Deck, then discard two cards."

He immediately drew another three cards.

"I set three cards in my Back Row. End Turn!"

"Nothing but Set Cards." Kira spoke as if to himself. "Feels like more people have been playing that way lately.

"Fine, then. My Turn, draw."

Kira directly sent one card from his hand to the Graveyard, then played another.

"The effect of The Tricky in my hand. By discarding one card, I can Special Summon this card.

"I Special Summon 'The Tricky'!"

One card was discarded to the Graveyard, and a golden glow of summoning spread across the Field. A cloaked magician with a question mark emblazoned on his chest emerged from the light.

"Oh? A level five Tribute Monster right from the start." D.D. adjusted his glasses. "Are you going straight into the attack, Duel King?"

"The card I discarded was the Quick-Play Spell, 'Silent Magic Blast.'"

Kira raised his Duel Disk, and white light shone from its Graveyard.
