"My turn, draw."
Judai drew, but did not make a move right away. He lowered his head, as though deep in thought—or perhaps hesitating over something.
Teruaki Zetsu sneered. "What, are you already getting scared? Heh heh, how about surrendering right now? Maybe I can make it easier on you."
Judai ignored him.
"Judai."
Neos's figure floated out beside him once more.
"Power itself has no distinction between justice and evil," Neos said. "What matters is wielding it with a righteous heart."
"Neos..."
Judai turned his head and met his gaze. His spirit nodded and gave him a thumbs-up.
Judai gently closed his eyes and smiled in relief.
"You're right. Power is just power in the end. It depends on the person using it. I understood that long ago. And I decided long ago that no matter how heavy or dark the past may be, I'll carry it and keep moving forward."
He pressed the button for the card set in his back row on his Duel Disk.
"I activate my Set Card, the Spell Card—
—Dark Fusion!"
The Set Card flipped over. The Spell unleashed a vast dark vortex, releasing astonishing Chaos as thunder flashed and surged within it!
Teruaki Zetsu: "!"
That card... such powerful darkness!
The instant he saw that card, he seemed to understand why the Light of Destruction had taken such interest in this boy, why he was called the opposite of light, an existence that had to be defeated no matter what.
"I fuse 'Elemental HERO Sparkman' and 'Elemental HERO Clayman' from my hand through dark power!"
Judai said.
"The hero who transformed into Demon Form to gain the power to protect, appear—
—Evil HERO Lightning Golem!"
Dense storm clouds spread overhead, as though the deepest ink in the sky had been carelessly spilled.
