"Ughhh!"

Ryuzaki let out a miserable scream.

The terrifying impact was more than just searing pain. The instant he was struck by the Dragon God's breath, Ryuzaki felt as though literal despair had pierced straight through him. His entire body felt as if it had fallen into an ice cellar; his limbs went cold, and even his thoughts seemed frozen.

Ryuzaki struggled to drop to one knee.

"What is with that monster?" He looked fearfully at the terrifying devil across from him. "A spirit of darkness?"

Kira smiled.

"Grapha is the most terrifying being from Dark World, a dreadful demon god who once ruled over an entire dimension. Until he was defeated by something even more terrifying."

The Dragon God let out a muffled growl.

He meant that his lord was flattering him. His lord was still more terrifying now.

"I set one card and end my turn," Kira said.

"Revolver, so your reputation really isn't for show. You're not easy to deal with."

Ryuzaki got back to his feet and snorted.

"But I've never been afraid of anyone in my life!"

Back when he had faced Katsuya Jonouchi, Yugi Mutou, and Seto Kaiba, he might not have won, but he had never feared any of them. He had always believed that he, too, belonged among the legends and ought to be someone extraordinary.

"My Turn, draw!" Ryuzaki said. "I activate the Spell Card 'Card of Adversity'!

"If my opponent has a Special Summoned monster on the Field and I have no monsters on my Field, I draw two cards from my Deck!"

Ryuzaki drew two cards.

"Then I Normal Summon 'Petit Dragon'!"
