Kira offered his praise without reservation.
"It certainly looks like a monster with extraordinary power."
Cobra snorted.
"You'll soon understand Vennominon's strength. Battle!"
"Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes, attack 'Head Zaluug'!"
Vennominon gave a sinister chuckle. The five fingers of his hand suddenly shot out, extending and springing forward like coils. On closer inspection, they were not fingers at all, but five little curved snakes. Each wore the same wicked grin as Vennominon, their tiny tongues flicking from their mouths.
Kira remained expressionless. "Zaluug, intercept him."
Zaluug looked at him with a miserable expression.
What? Me, fighting Vennominon? Seriously?
Of course, orders were orders. Forced into overtime, Zaluug could only grit his teeth, draw his gun, and charge into battle. The outcome was predictable. He fired several shots from his revolver, but Vennominon could not even be bothered to defend or dodge. The bullets merely bounced harmlessly off the King's hard scales.
Vennominon's little snakes immediately wrapped Zaluug up tight and bit into his dark muscles again and again. Zaluug howled in agony. The wounds were quickly soaked in venom, his skin turning purple-black before he soon exploded.

A defensive barrier blocked the impact of the attack, and Kira drew a card.
