After briefly speaking with her colleagues from the Archaeological Bureau, Ishizu parted ways with them and took Kira to a car. About thirty minutes from the airport, far from the city, they soon arrived at a valley.
At first, Kira did not recognize the place. But once he got out of the car and reached the entrance, he knew where they were.
This was where the original Yu-Gi-Oh! had drawn to a close—the place where the Pharaoh, having fulfilled his mission, had held the Ritual of the Duel with his best friend in the mortal world.

He spared no expense in time and resources, painstakingly digging up every fragment of the Millennium Puzzle as though searching for a needle in the sea.
All so he could bring back the only arch-rival he had ever acknowledged.
That was why this once-buried entrance had finally seen daylight again. However, President Kaiba had fulfilled his wish long ago, and later even pursued his arch-rival into the Underworld to keep playing cards with him. The facilities here had thus become useless.
