It was already late after Kira's duel with Marik. He had traveled a long way to Egypt with Ishizu today and had not yet had the chance to settle in. Ishizu decided to treat him to dinner first that evening as a gesture of hospitality, then had someone take him to his lodgings for the night. They would discuss matters in detail the next day.
It was Kira's first time in Egypt. He had always heard that Egypt was renowned as the birthplace of Duel Monsters, with supposedly more ruins than all other places in the world combined. Since he had rarely had the chance to come here, he ought to tour the sights and visit the various ruins. What if inspiration struck at some ruin and his Spiritual Vision let him print an entire new set of cards?
But that was a matter for later.
After traveling all day and having a friendly spar with Marik, Kira was indeed a little tired. Once he returned to the hotel, he washed up briefly and fell asleep within a minute of hitting the bed.
He did not know how long he had slept. In his hazy state, Kira felt as though he were riding clouds and mist, as if an invisible force beneath him were lifting him through the air.

Kira turned around groggily and saw a cool, silver-haired beauty following behind him. She wore a white mage's robe, and her long jade-like legs flickered in and out of sight beneath the fluttering hem.
