"Yubel - The Knight of Despair's effect!"
Yubel shouted angrily.
"Disappear for me, you eyesore Neos, and that Neo-Spacian too!"
The Knight of Despair let out a roar and crashed down upon Judai's Field with overwhelming force.
Neos and Dark Panther both crouched into defensive stances. Transparent defensive shields formed around them, with Energy Barriers standing before them, but it was all useless. Yubel's blow pierced straight through the shields, blasting both Neos and the Neo-Spacian to pieces.
Judai raised an arm before himself. "Neos..."
"Forget your Neos, Judai!" Yubel said. "You don't need him, and you don't need anyone else! All you need is me. Having me alone is enough!"
Judai brushed the smoke and dust from himself, paying Yubel's words no heed. He steadied himself again, took a deep breath, and said, "My Turn, draw."
He did not refute Yubel or attempt to argue, as though he had not heard her at all. That reaction only made Yubel even angrier.
"Have I disappeared from your eyes now too, Judai?"
"No," Judai said. "It's just that I know nothing I say right now is what you truly mean. Your perception has been twisted, and much of that is my fault.
"If I hadn't abandoned you back then, if I hadn't let you leave my side, perhaps none of this would have happened."
Judai shook his head, then continued.
"But that won't happen ever again. I'll bring you back through this duel, and this time, we will never be separated again.
"I activate the Spell Card 'Graceful Charity.' Draw three cards from my Deck, then discard two cards."
