Chapter Summaries

The Demon Trio established a Power Formation that made Power Murderer difficult to attack and threatened heavy battle damage, while Joey removed the demons’ Set Cards and summoned Swordmaster, Bare-Chested Gearfried. Kira drew as Attack Lock ended, leaving him to face the demons’ formation and a hidden Counter Trap.

• The Single-Winged Demon summoned Power Murderer, activated Power Spirit, and set a card.
• Joey drew two cards with Pot of Greed, used Localized Heavy Storm to return the demons’ Set Cards to their hands, and summoned Swordmaster, Bare-Chested Gearfried.

Kira confronted Tragœdia and dueled David, who tried to overwhelm him with a Dark Duel. Kira revealed a Mirror Force from his hand just as David's Machina Fortress attacked, putting David's monster in danger.

• Kira recognized Tragœdia in the black mist, and Tragœdia ordered David to kill him.
• David began the duel by summoning Quantum Man and setting a card, while Kira destroyed the set card and attacked Quantum Man with Jet Synchron.
• David used Heavy Storm to destroy Kira's set Mirror Force, then revived Machina Fortress by discarding Machina Megaform.
