I'm opening a separate chapter mainly to talk with all you handsome, beautiful, and wealthy readers about follow-up reads.

For a Qidian novel, Monday and Tuesday are absolutely crucial.
I spoke with my editor today. We currently have around 2,000 follow-up reads, just barely at the edge of Sanjiang. The editor needs my follow-up reads to rise a little more so we can make a push for Sanjiang this week.
As for the exact gap, it could be a few dozen, or it could be a few hundred.
If we can't make it onto Sanjiang, this book will probably go straight to paid release where it stands.
Because of the plot, I've just finished writing a major arc, and we're still in the buildup stage lately, so there aren't quite enough big climaxes for the moment.
But when you write a book, the plot has to rise and fall. Otherwise, you readers won't feel much emotion either.
Who would've thought we'd hit this critical period at exactly this time? Even though there are quite a few follow-up reads now, this author is feeling a little uncertain.
So I've specially opened this separate chapter to beg on my knees for follow-up reads.
